Software Quality Assurance (SQA) is a process that ensures that the developed software meets and complies with defined or standardized quality specifications. It is an ongoing process which encompasses the entire software development process, such as requirements definition, software design, coding, source code control, code reviews, software configuration management, software testing, release management, and product integration. SQA itself is organized into lifecycle, deliverables, measurements, and verifications.
This QA Playbook focuses mainly on software testing process, deliverables and measurements which should be followed before delivering software to clients. The contents of this QA Playbook may be shared with clients to explain internal Software Testing process.
